 Trends are trends. They trend for a reason, and they are popular because they are trendy. It is a perpetual motion of exponential popularity, and it almost seems never-ending. The phrase "You can't miss a day on the internet" speaks about the problem of quick trends beginning and ending within the same week, hence the fact that you "can't miss a day". However, with Labubus, a blind box toy phenomenon, it seems that even with the backlash being received, they're only getting more popular. "Do you hate Labubu's because you hate them or because people are telling you to hate them?", my dad asked me whilst out getting dinner. "I hate them because they're a useless trend, but I can't say there's no influence from other people to also hate them," I replied.
